-
Will iVideo use up my cellular data plan?
It is true that video delivery can consume large amounts of data. Many people have unlimited data plans, so they don't have to worry about additional costs from their wireless carrier. To help those who need to manage their data consumption, iVideo checks your internet connection every time you launch it, and if you aren't using a WiFi connection it suggests you do so. Using WiFi is not required, but it is faster, and may save you data charges from your wireless carrier, depending on your plan. Please note that your wireless charges are your responsibility. iVideo is not responsible for any of these charges under any circumstances.

How fast is iVideo?
When should I download instead of playing a show from the internet?iVideo works best over a WiFi connection. You'll have faster downloads, and playing a video without downloading will likely be seamless. With 3G or EDGE cellular data connections downloads will be slower, and when playing a video without downloading it first you may experience pauses in the playback as the video plays faster than it is received. For 3G or EDGE connections, we suggest downloading the show first, and then playing it. After downloading, the file is stored locally on your iPhone/iTouch, so playback will be seamless. And you can watch the downloaded show as often as you want - even without an internet connection.
-
How do I get the latest content?
iVideo will update the categories and series from the internet every two days automatically, when you launch the application. When you select a series from the Series View, it will update the shows for that series automatically. For more frequent updates, tap the refresh button at the top left of the Series View or the Shows View.
-
What does "subscribe" mean?
How do I subscribe to a Series? When you subscribe to a series all of its shows will be downloaded, even new shows added in the future. This all happens in the background - you don't need to do anything. To subscribe to a series, tap the Subscribe button near the series' image. This button is available in most views. If you want to review the progress of your downloads, or delete some of them, go to the Downloads View.

When I turn my iPhone/iTouch, iVideo displays sideways - Why?

-
Are there any known issues with iVideo?
Very few. Here are the ones we know about in this release...
- On rare occasions, a show will not play directly from the internet or download. From time to time, the content publishers stop their video feeds for maintenance purposes, making them unavailable. Try again later.
- For a very small number of shows, when trying to play them you may get a message that the server is not configured properly, or that the show cannot be played. While iVideo has pre-filtered the video content for iPhone/iTouch compatibility, sometimes the content publishers feed us invalid content or have server configuration issues that we cannot resolve.
